Module 2 — For the Technical Lead

Technician
Companion App

A summary of what we are building with Eurostar — and what we need from you to get started.

Here is what this is about.

Ferdinando is working with AdapttoAI to cut the technician onboarding cycle in half. The second module focuses on knowledge transfer: putting every manual, troubleshooting guide, and service record on the technician's phone — searchable in seconds, without calling the office or Italy. Onboarding goes from 12 months to 6. Senior technicians stop being the bottleneck.

What we need from you to move forward
  • Technical manuals in electronic format — across all OEM brands, whatever format you have (PDFs, Word, shared drives)
  • A walkthrough of how a new technician learns today — what resources exist and where the gaps are
  • Two working sessions of 1 hour each — one to map the knowledge gaps, one to validate the first version

12 months to get a technician field-ready. Knowledge that leaves when people leave.

Getting a new technician fully operational takes 12 months: 3 months in Italy with the OEMs, then shadowing a senior technician on every job. That is expensive, slow, and fragile. When a junior tech hits an edge case in the field, they call back to the office. When the office does not know, they call Italy.

The knowledge exists across 13+ OEM brands, hundreds of PDFs, and years of field experience. It is scattered across WhatsApp threads and lives in people's heads — not in a system.

Every technician carries the full knowledge base in their pocket.

We build a mobile companion app that gives every technician instant access to everything they need — before, during, and after a job. No more calls back to the office for answers that are already documented somewhere.

Four phases. Starting with one OEM brand, then the full library.

Phase 1 — Weeks 1–2
Discover

Sessions with you to map the knowledge gaps, audit the manual library, and define what "field-ready" looks like.

Phase 2 — Weeks 3–8
Build

First version built on one OEM brand. Weekly demos. You test it on real scenarios before we expand.

Phase 3 — Weeks 8–10
Pilot

A small group of technicians uses it in the field. Feedback, edge cases, refinement.

Phase 4 — Weeks 10–12
Roll Out

Full library indexed, full team trained, 30 days post-rollout support.

Three things. That is all.

This is what we need from you before we can begin. Everything else is on us.

Who we are.

AdapttoAI is a consulting practice that builds operational tools for manufacturers and distributors. We do not replace your team or their expertise — we package what they already know so the whole company can access it.

We have built and sold technology companies across three continents over 15 years. We work with companies like Eurostar because the same pattern keeps appearing: excellent teams, deep knowledge, and no system to capture or share it. That is the gap we close.
